    ARC, Inc.'s 2023 Jacksonville Conference will be held on April 20 - 21.  This two-day training, Re-Thinking Justice: The Broader Impact of Mitigation, is designed to help strengthen advocacy for individual clients and advance the field of mitigation overall. 

    ​Our keynote speaker will be Herman Lindsey, Executive Director of Witness to Innocence. Topics will include Mitigation and Decision-Makers, Coalition-Building: Exploring How Individual Practitioners Can Work with Others to Push Mitigation Forward, The Path Toward More Just Outcomes, and more. The Training venue and agenda will be announced soon.

    Mitigation investigation is a powerful tool for those seeking to disrupt the dehumanizing narratives often seen in the criminal justice system. This multi-day training will be provided free of charge to ensure that participants--regardless of financial restrictions--have access to the key skills and techniques needed to conduct a mitigation investigation effectively. Each workshop and panel will be led by nationally recognized faculty.

    ARC, Inc. provides this training at no cost to attendees in order to remove as many barriers to high-quality mitigation training as possible. Other training-related costs must be covered by attendees or their agencies.
