Advancing Real Change (ARC), Inc. began the Muhammad-White Award in 2020 to recognize and celebrate a mitigation professional's excellence throughout their career. This award has been named for two clients who have played key roles in ARC, Inc.’s history - one who informed our understanding of the critical role of the client relationship in achieving just outcomes and another who helped us advance mitigation to areas beyond capital work. This award represents the many lessons we have learned from each of our clients and their legacy in the way we carry those lessons forward in our work.

In short, the recipient of this award will be someone who has raised the standard of mitigation provided to not only their clients, but those whose lives are impacted by others within the defense community.

All nominations must be submitted by 5pm Eastern on June 10, 2022. Please note that ineligible individuals include current and former ARC, Inc. employees or board members, those no longer practicing as a mitigation specialist, and posthumous nominees.
