Join Advancing Real Change, Inc., for our Steps Towards Justice Walk-a-Thon!

Walk with us on May 20th at 10am on Capitol Hill during our annual Steps Towards Justice event. Friends, pets, and family of all ages welcome. You can register to participate below or donate here and help us reach our fundraising goal. Every step and each donation helps move us towards a criminal legal system that is more just, humane, and equitable.

About Advancing Real Change, Inc.
Advancing Real Change, Inc., works toward a more just and humane criminal legal system by unearthing the life histories of people facing extreme sentences, such as the death penalty and life without parole. Our staff spend countless hours meeting with clients, interviewing members of their community, collecting records, and much more so that we can share our clients’ true, accurate life histories with the judges, juries, and prosecutors that decide their sentences.

Every step in that process moves us toward more humane sentences. This takes time and resources, and much of it is not fully funded by criminal courts. We depend on the supporters who walk with us to make our work possible.
